My first FOTW video

Hi everyone!

This is my first FOTW video, I hope you will enjoy it:

Last week I tried to keep it simple, but also discovered and eyeshadow combination that I really like.

Top 5 Most Used – May 2012

This month I rotated my products a lot. I used so many foundations, eye shadows, primers and even mascaras that I thought it will be really difficult to pick the top 5 most used.
However, one look at my make up collection, and these 5 just jumped into my hand.

Here are this month’s picks:

Top 5 Most Used May 2012

Top 5 Most Used May 2012

  • Wet n Wild brow and eye liner pencil in 648 taupe : Ever since I got in the mail from Judi, I have used it every day!
  • Benefit Erase paste in 02 medium: reviews on this product are divided, but it really does work for my under eye area.
  • NARS Orgasm blush: this item doesn’t need any more words from me, I just use it almost every day.
  • Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons bronzer in 01 Blondes: this bronzer works great with my skin tone. Also, because it has the 4 shades I can custom mix it every day.
  • Guerlain Meteorites Cruel Gardenia: to go with my bronzer, I started using the illuminator too. It is a beautiful product, which I always look forward to put on. This is a limited edition item, so I do not have a link.

Wet n Wild Silent Treatment Trio

Wet n Wild Silent Treatment

Wet n Wild Silent Treatment

This is another trio from my friend Judi. Please have a look at her blog, it is very good!

If you haven’t already, please also look at my previous post, about the Wet n Wild Sweet as Candy trio too.

The Silent Treatment trio consists of: one pink shimmery (satin) browbone color, a dark brown with glitter crease colour and a nice (satin) taupe for the eyelid. The eyelid color reminds me of MAC’s satin taupe, but it is more gray than MAC.

Same as with the other trio, I was very impressed with the quality of the shadows. They blend very nicely, and this particular set can be used to do a nice smoky eye too.

I am still working on my swatch photo taking skills, but I hope you enjoy these:

Wet n Wild Sweet as Candy Trio

Wet n Wild Sweet as Candy

As promised, I am posting swatches of the Wet n Wild shadows from Judi.

I was very surprised to discover how good these shadows are. They are creamy, easy to apply, pretty pigmented and, with primer they don’t crease or fade.
Also, I like how they have instructions on where to apply the shadows.

The Sweet as Candy Trio has one pink eyelid color, one dark (neutral brown) crease color and one white highlight color, all satin finish. They are the perfect combination for easy morning make up!
But I will let the pictures tell the story!

See my photos and swatches of the Sweet as Candy Trio below:

Because my skin is very white, and the colors light, there is not contrast and the colors seem “washed out” in the photos.
On the lids, my skin is darker so this does not happen!

My first Youtube Swap!

I did a swap with Judi who lives in the US. She kindly offered to send me some Wet n Wild goodies, so I thought a swap would be a great idea.
I have heard so much about Wet n Wild but never owned anything from them.
In exchange, I sent Judi some “stars” from our UK high street.

Please check out Judi’s Youtube channel and blog! I love both of them and I always look forward to her posts!

Here is what I sent her:
