Diana's Make up World

More color please!

I have to admit, almost every morning I reach for the Naked palette. But what is wrong with color? Why is everyone so crazy about the “no make up – make up” or the “nude” look.
Ok, “no make up – make up” is a good thing, you hide the imperfections and look natural. But why is the “nude look” so popular? Why so many nude lipstick shades and neutral shadows? How many of these can we buy? How many palettes will be launched with almost the same color in them?

Even for office work, more color than that can be worn for sure.
All last summer I was wearing the brightest colors, after which the devil a.k.a the Naked palette got in my life. Now I use mostly neutral shades, except when going out. It’s easy and convenient but…

I’m glad that the spring collections bring back the color into our lives.

From now on I’m going to be using more of these:

As you can see, many of them ar slightly touched, really need to be using them more!

Items in the photos:

  1. NYX 5 color shadow – The Caribbean Collection – I dream of Barbados.
  2. Sleek blush in Pixie Pink. Sleek can be found at Superdug
  3. NYX eye liner in Azure. The full name is “Slide on, glide on, stay on & definitely a turn on waterproof extreme shine eye liner. (The liner is so good, the name had to be this long!)” – How cute is that?)
  4. NARS pure matte lipstick in Carthage.
  5. Shu Uemura lipstick in PK 369.
  6. MAC shadows: Shimmer moss, aquadisiac, electric eel, moon’s reflection, juxt, lucky green.

These are products I own, some of them for a while. They might not be available to buy anymore, I did not check the websites.
